Studied in Düsseldorf, legal clerkship in Hamburg, Berlin, Strasbourg, Brussels, Karlsruhe, lawyer since 2020.
Dr Redder advises clients on public law with a focus on public building law, civil service law, school and university law, public grants law as well as constitutional, international and European law.
Key areas of activity in public building law are the review of development plans, the granting of building permits and the review of building regulations.
In addition, Dr Redder advises on all areas of civil service law, in particular on civil service law competition disputes and disciplinary proceedings. Since February 2024, Dr Redder has been a lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences for Administration and Services (FH Altenholz) in the field of "Civil Service Law". Through GIBT Colleg e.V. and Kommunales Bildungswerk e.V., he regularly offers seminars on the topics of "Disciplinary law in Schleswig-Holstein. Legal foundations, procedure, practical issues" and "The dismissal of revocation and probationary civil servants". Dr Redder also holds webinars on the topic of "The new whistleblower protection law - whistleblowing in public administration" via KOMMA (Competence Centre for Administrative Management). The rights and obligations of employees in the public sector in the area of whistleblowing are discussed.
In school and university law, Dr Redder advises universities in particular on all issues relating to education law. He is co-editor of the PdK commentary on the Schleswig-Holstein Higher Education Act.
Dr Redder also supports authorities and private individuals in the area of grants law. This includes, in particular, advice on eligibility for grants and the cancellation of grant notifications.
In constitutional, international and European law, Dr Redder supports his clients in particular in all matters relating to the protection of fundamental rights. This also includes the drafting of constitutional complaints to the Federal Constitutional Court and individual complaints to the European Court of Human Rights. Dr Redder is the author of a textbook on fundamental rights, which will be published in 2025.
Before joining BROCK MÜLLER ZIEGENBEIN, he worked as a lawyer in a law firm specialising in public law in Hamburg.
