born 1968, university studies (Law and Physics) in Göttingen, Berkeley/USA and Kiel; funded by the German Academic Scholarship Foundation, visiting associate at the Boston Consulting Group in Munich, admitted as attorney in 2001, Certified Specialist for trade and corporate law, and tax law, notary since 2014

Specialisation: Mergers and acquisitions, company succession, business restructuring, corporate law, tax law

Dr Hauke Thilow specialises in corporate transactions, in particular the acquisition and sale of companies. He has assisted in scores of company acquisitions and business restructuring projects for family-owned companies and listed public limited companies. In addition, he advises businessmen and companies on corporate law, including stock corporation law and company succession arrangements. Prior to 2005, Dr Thilow was part of a law firm in Hamburg specialising in mergers and acquisitions. In 2004, he was seconded to US law firm King & Spalding in New York.

Dr Hauke Thilow is a lecturer at the Christian-Albrecht University of Kiel in the field of corporate law and chair of the Admissions Committee of the Schleswig-Holstein Bar Association for Certified Specialists for trade and corporate law.
