IT LAW, DATA PROTECTION.
IT law is just as important for companies as it is for the public sector. We provide legal advice, for example, on the introduction of new software for corporate management, the adaptation of existing service contracts to changed requirements or the updating of commercial websites with regard to changes in legislation or case law. In this context, we represent both users and companies from the IT sector, whether in the context of day-to-day business or larger IT projects.
We support the operators of online shops in all matters relating to distance selling law, from setting up the shop structure to providing ongoing advice and conducting legal disputes. A particular focus here is the drafting and ongoing revision of specific contractual terms and conditions for e-commerce.
Finally, data protection law is a particular focus of the IT law department. BROCK MÜLLER ZIEGENBEIN advises both the operators of internet platforms and companies from other sectors with regard to guaranteeing the necessary data protection standards. The constantly increasing requirements for the design of the IT environment in compliance with data protection law must be taken into account. Finally, we evaluate the organisational operating procedures in interdisciplinary cooperation between employment lawyers and IT lawyers.
