After completing his degree course, Dr Scholz was a research associate to Prof. Dr Ralf P. Schenke at the Department of Public Law, German, European and International Tax Law at the Julius-Maximilian University of Würzburg from 2011 to 2016. In 2015, he was awarded a doctorate in corporate tax law by the Graduate School of Law, Economics and Society (GSLES) at the University of Würzburg.
Dr Scholz’s main specialisation covers trade and corporate law, which primarily involves advising and representing small and medium-sized enterprises, their shareholders and executive bodies on all matters of corporate law. His work concentrates on the drafting of managing director service agreements and company agreements alongside extrajudicial advice and representation in court, and includes litigation in shareholders’ disputes. Other specialisations focus on providing advice on company formation, change of legal form, and acquisition or disposal of companies and company holdings.
