Specialisation: Mergers and acquisitions, change of legal form and succession arrangements, corporate law

Dr Martin Witt focuses on the handling of corporate transactions, in particular the acquisition and sale of companies and company holdings, and advises investors and entrepreneurs on the sale of or obtaining a stake in existing and newly created enterprises.

In addition, he advises entrepreneurs and companies on all forms of business restructuring, including mergers, split-ups and split-offs, spin-offs, and on squeeze-out procedures, as well as general advice on corporate law, including stock corporation law and succession arrangements. Alongside this, he is the point of contact for issues relating to the transparency register.

Until 2014, Dr Martin Witt worked for a law firm in Hamburg specialising in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions. Advising both buyers and sellers, he helped conclude many of these mergers and acquisitions for private equity companies, entrepreneurs, and strategic investors.
