Dr Christian Becker is a certified lawyer specialising in administrative law with a focus on public construction, planning, development and environmental law, public compensation law (expropriation, compensation, state liability), public tax law, the law governing municipal special-purpose associations and public media law.
He advises on and, where necessary, litigates on the development and implementation of major public sector projects and private investors in all public law issues arising in this context. This includes drafting and negotiating public law contracts (e.g. development agreements, implementation agreements, urban construction contracts, transfer agreements), assisting with land-use planning, planning approval and authorisation procedures and defending against neighbouring claims in court.
Other areas of activity include licensing and supervisory proceedings under broadcasting law, the privatisation of municipal facilities, expropriation proceedings and the defence against state liability claims.
Dr Christian Becker also heads a large notary's office. In this function, he was appointed notary administrator of the deceased partner Reinhard Ziegenbein by the President of the Regional Court in 2020.
Dr Becker is Deputy Chairman of the Administrative Committee of the Schleswig-Holstein Pension Fund for Lawyers and a member of the Board of the Administrative Law Working Group of the German Bar Association, Schleswig-Holstein Regional Group.
