Dr. Matthias Krisch

Studied in Augsburg and Kiel, legal traineeship in the USA and elsewhere, lawyer since 1994, certified lawyer for intellectual property law, notary since 2008

Specialisation: Notarial services - in particular real estate law -, lawyer: trademark law, competition law.

Dr Krisch's notarial work focuses primarily on property-related notarisations, family law contracts, inheritance law arrangements and company formations, as well as healthcare proxies with living wills. Dr Krisch is also available for notarisations in English.

As a certified lawyer for intellectual property law, Dr Krisch advises and represents companies in all legal matters relating to advertising and marketing as well as the protection of trademarks. In the area of competition law, he advises broadcasters, companies and agencies on the organisation of advertising campaigns, competitions, promotional events and other events, including the drafting of contracts in this regard. Dr Krisch has been involved in the development of trademarks for many years and has assisted with their registration at national and international trademark offices.

Dr Krisch was a long-standing member of the board of the Kiel Bar Association (2009-2023), most recently as deputy chairman, and was also chairman of the Joint Expert Committee on Intellectual Property of the Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania Bar Associations (2010-2022). He is a member of the programme advisory board of Radio Schleswig-Holstein (R.SH).

Dr Krisch is a lecturer at the Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel.
