Dr Johannes Fitzke provides comprehensive advice and representation to clients in the field of medical and healthcare law. A particular focus of his work lies in medical negligence law, where he acts exclusively on behalf of service providers – that is, doctors, clinics and other healthcare institutions. In this capacity, Dr Johannes Fitzke represents clients in legal proceedings before civil and social courts. Another key area of his practice is providing criminal law advice and defence for healthcare professionals during pre-trial investigations, particularly in cases involving allegations of medical negligence. In addition, Dr Johannes Fitzke advises hospitals and other healthcare providers on remuneration law, notably in relation to recourse claims by health insurance funds and in billing disputes.
Dr Johannes Fitzke is a member of the Association for Quality Assurance in the Healthcare Sector in Schleswig-Holstein (Förderkreis Qualitätssicherung im Gesundheitswesen in Schleswig-Holstein e.V.).
